Controlled appellationLocated north of the Côte de Beaune, Pernand-Vergelesses is in the hollow of a valley. Planted between 200 and 350 meters above sea level, the vines are exposed mainly to the east and south-east.

Wine-makingManual harvest-picking. The grapes are sorted in the vineyard and then in the domain on special selection tables.
A punching of the cap is done daily and constant temperature control allows the expression of fruit and the future balance of the wine. Fermentation in open vats during 19 days before pressing (pneumatic).
Maturation in oak barrels at 100% with 20% new oak barrels (from France) and the balance in oaks of one year for 13 months.
Character and styleClear and brilliant color of a pale gold. The nose is powerful and
expressive, fruity and characterized by purity and a singular distinction.
It reveals itself in depth. The palate is graceful and mineral. It opens
first with invigorating and floral notes (citrus, juniper, quince, lemon
notes), then with hazelnut and almond.
Ageing and serviceTo keep 10-15 years. Temperature of service: 12-14°C
